Astringent burn?
I had a really bad breakout so I used Neutrogena astingent and I think I left it on my skin too long. I woke up this morning with a half dollar sized purple mark on my face and it hurts! It almost looks like a bruise. I can't get a dermatologist appointment until Friday. I don't want it to scar. Any suggestions? TIA

Not sure if it would help since I have no experience with this, but I'd probably put hydrocortisone cream on it or something similar that would be soothing/healing/non-irritating/moisturizing. Hope you get better soon!
