At what age is it safe for DC to sleep with a blanket??

At what age is it safe for DC to sleep with a blanket??
DD is 9 months and loves this 1 blanket...she loves to mush her face into it when she is tired and I wanted to know if it was safe to leave in the crib...I plan to take it out now b/c I am not sure what age is safe?

I THINK its at least 1 year, but check with your ped to be safe. I definitely agree with you - DO NOT leave it in the crib with her, she is definitely too young now.

Both have always had some kind of blanket. When they were newborns they were swaddled and when they went into their cribs I have a crocheted blanket I use.

I've always put both DS's down with blankets. They do the same with mushing their face into it.
Although, I only was comfortable with this because the anglecare monitor was on. It made me more comforatble other then that I probably wouldn't give them a blanket because I'm too nervous.
