not all seats fit on all bikes.
DH has to use my (women's) bike because his bike can't have the type of seat we got. i'll have to look at it to figure out what its called

We have the CoPilot Taxi - got it at Dicks last year. DD hated it last year when she was 1 year, but now she is 2 and loves it. We ride around the neighborhood looking for bunny rabbits...
I like that you can strap her legs down so she doesn't kick my back. DH said it was a pain to install on my bike - I have a Trek Navigator - but its on there and she is secure.
I guess the tricky party is that the strap goes over her head and doesn't fit over her helmet. I don't feel comfortable with her being on the seat without the helmet on - even for just the few seconds while I strap her in. But we've learned how to get her in there fast.

got this bicycle trailer from walmart. didn't want to spend $ since i'm just taking up bicycling again. does the trick perfectly 
eta: forgot the pros and cons. pros, i don't feel like i'm tugging someone along and it rides great. cons - since she's behind the wheel, any kind of debris gets into where she's sitting. kind of annoying. the screen helps, but the small small pieces still get in.

The on we have goes in the front of the bike. DS loves it. Every time DH takes him out for a ride, everyone comments on it.

our babysitter has something like this and she LOVES it.... it doesn't have the screen though!

Posted by mrswask. He's two now, but we've been using it sine just under a year. The ped said as long as his head support was ok, and we were only doing smooth surfaces it was fine!

We got this one too. We got it at Brands and they installed it for us. The nice part is that when DH gets a better bike.. you can buy a second rack and move the bike seat very easily from bike to bike.
Pros.. Liam loves it.
Cons.. He has figured out how to take off the bar. I am not sure how or why. We have to take it back to Brands and see if it is defective or something.

if your bike is a full suspension bike, a seat will not work.
front suspension is okay.
we have a cheapie bike seat, off craigslist for 15.00.
used it almost everyday for 1.5 years. love it. really no cons...
waiting till baby is 1, then we will get the trailer. not sure if josh will still want to sit in it though.

I have a very expensive Trek Bike with full suspension , I tried to buy a seat last year and learned that lesson. So I plan on buying a new bike and a seat or trailer. I want to get a comfy beach cruiser type bike.
