Travel Agent Rec
I always thought that going through a travel agent you can get a better deal then booking your own trip online.
Well I went to a travel agent (liberty travel) and she actually was more expensive then if I were to do it myself.
Anyone willing to recommend a travel agent?

Sometimes he takes a long time getting back to you, I used him for my HM. We booked with him even though we got the same quote from a few other travel agents. I think it depends on where you're going sometimes. I went to Liberty to get rates on Mexico and their prices were better than what I found online, and the flight times she got us were so much better too. When I booked a trip to Europe, Liberty came up more expensive than if I just booked it on my own online. I always like to compare prices with an agent and ask about how their clients felt about certain places.

Travel Tom!
It took him two days to get back, I emailed twice, but once he did everything was fine. He did an amazing job booking our trip and giving us GREAT, really useful feedback.

Each LT agent is different. I went to one in Oceanside and loved Kristina. She matched a great price I found online and then added a few things to it so I went with her.
I heard great things about Tom too, but I feel better meeting someone in person

I always thought that by going through a travel agent you get certain "perks" but obviously that wasn't the case when I went to this one particular LT agent. Maybe I will try another one see if I can get anything extra, otherwise I might as well book the trip myself.
