Wednesday FMQOTD...

Good Morning Ladies!

Today's question is not TTC related because I need to streer my mind elsewhere.

So here is today's question/s:

1. What was your first concert?
3. What was your favorite concert?
2. What types of music did your parents play in the house when you were growing up?


1. My dad took me to my first concert when I was 10 yrs old and it was to see U2-The Joshua Tree Tour

2. I have been to sooo many concerts and it's really hard for me to pick one favorite but I would say seeing Paul McCartney last year at Citi Field with my Dad was amazing!

3. Growing up I feel like I had the best of both worlds-Rock and Roll from my dad and Disco/Motown/R&B from my Mom. Every Saturday my parents would put on the music and we would clean the house. You would hear anything from The Beatles to Al Green to Led Zepplin to The Jackson 5. It was awesome and I can't wait to expose my LO's to all types of music.

3. My parents listened to lots of old school country and folk, my mom was much older (born in 1935) so she also loved Big Band Music. :)

3. I really enjoyed JT...the experience was great.. but NO DOUBT is my favorite they were awesome.
2. My mother played a lot of disco...and old italian music...my father played a lot of Oldies- the platters....and then some mexican music i dont know why- hes not mexican

1. My first concert was Milli Vanilli- Which how funny, since my first concert was with a bunch of frauds...( since the they are most know for their lyp sinc scam).

2. My favorite concert was Aerosmith with Lenny Kravitz.

3. My mother was very young when we were kids, So she was always playing whatever was the "Top 20 on the radio", and Loved Hip Hop & R&B. I actually remember her playing all the Whitney Houston tapes, then Gloria Estefan.

1. DCTalk, it was a christian band I loved them but the next was Dave Matthews and it was awesome!

2. What was your favorite concert? hmm i dont know I have a few that i loved. Dave Matthews, Aerosmith with kid rock and run dmc, nine inch nails, and depeche mode are my top ones

3. What types of music did your parents play in the house when you were growing up? My mom played a lot of christian music and my dad loved folk John Denver, Dan Fogelberg, Chicago, Neil Diamond and he loved Gloria Estefan lol

1. My first conert was Tiffany. New Kids on the Block was the opening act for her!

2. My favorite concert was NKOTB

3. Growing up, my dad played country music and bands like The Beatles, CCR, Blue Oyster Cult etc. My mom was/is a big Elvis fan.

1. Heart and Cheap Trick (wasnt into them but my brother took me)

2. Have to say Jimmy Buffett since thats where i got engaged

3. My Mom listened to alot of radio top 20 and 50's music and my Dad listened to more talk radio than music

Debbie Gibson...loved it. Even got a hat like the one she wore on her cover ...it was the best ever!

3. What was your favorite concert?
Probably Jiimmy Buffet. Great relaxed crowd and just a really fun time. It also didnt hurt that we took a food/margiarita stocked van/limo into the city...so fun!

2. What types of music did your parents play in the house when you were growing up?
ugh my dad loved Tijuana Brass. He would - and still does- blast it.
Ugh I can hear it now...
