Questions to ask potential renters
I've never been a landlord before. We're renting our co-op http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/abo/1668155999.html
and I've had interest! YAY... I'm starting to set up appointments for people to come see. What questions can I ask when I show it?
There's an application for the board and they do the credit check, etc., but for myself I want to make sure they are clean, etc..
I will tell them about the Board process, etc..
Can I ask if they smoke? I'd really prefer non-smokers...

I wouldn't ask if they smoke, I would tell them no smoking and put it in the lease too.
