Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I put it in a scented bag and keep in my diaper bag until I get home. Even at my mom's and siblings. I've forgotten it until the next day sometimes and it does not smell. The Sassy bags are great!

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
i always ask...why wouldn't anyone do the same?
whatever they tell me to do, that's what i do. common courtesy. i would never assume it's okay to put it in any trashcan in the house. i've put the poopy diaper in a plastic bag back in my own diaper bag before i leave it in a house that's not mine. i dispose of it later on, obviously.

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I throw it in their outdoor garbage can. At my Mom's in her garage and other places outside. I would never throw it in someone's garbage inside their house. I have never used scented bags so I'm not sure if that would change...

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I always either take it with me, or throw it away in the garbage bins outside. I never leave them in the house unless they have other small children and instruct me to do so.

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I put it in a plastic bag, tightly closed, then tell them I'm putting it in their regular garbage can (so it can be taken out later).

I would ask them what they want me to do with it.

I use the scented bags and ask the person what they want me to to with it.
This is what I do as well.

I have the little plastic bags, tie it up in that and throw it in their regular garbage (assuming that goes out more frequently). I would not toss it in a wastebasket.

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I ask where they want it. In our house you can drop it out the bathroom window right into the outside trash. I hate using plastic bags -- bad enough I am filling the landfill with a dirty diaper.

I would ask what they wanted me to do with it, but if I foudn it in my own bathroom, I would think it was just an oversight and wouldnt really think twice about it either.

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I carry the scented bags in my diaper bag so I tie it in that tightly and 90% of the time ask what where they'd like us to dispose of it. Most of the time I throw it in their main trash can (usually in the kitchen).

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
Depends... If it's a house with babies or small children and they still have a baby/child in diapers, I will ask if I can dispose of it the way they dispose of their diapers, however that may be.
If it's a non-baby house, like my MIL's, I will Sassy scented bag it, and put it back in my diaper bag to dispose of when I get home.
ETA: Can't believe it's been over a year since I had to worry about this!

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
flush the poopy into the toilet, close it up and put it in the anti microbial pocket of my diaper bag. or, throw it out in the garbage if its a sposie. I still flush the poopie though.

Re: When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
I tie it up in a plastic bag and will throw it out in the kitchen, since that gets taken out the most.
I usually ask first though.
