When you change a poopy diaper at someone else's house...
...what do you do with it?
Would you ever just throw it in someone's bathroom waste basket, particularly one located upstairs near all the bedrooms?

usually i throw it in their garbage, but i do tie it up in a plastic bag first so it doesn't smell.

same here...i have a rolled up thing with scented diaper bags to use when I am out..so i put diapers in there then toss in the garbage can

I would ask the host ahead of time. Most people are "baby friendly" for our family at this point so there is already a diaper genie or something. Some people just don't care and say to toss it in the trash. I would NEVER just put it in someone's garbage without asking first. Gross!

I put it in a plastic bag, tie it, and then ask the person what they want me to do with it - we throw ours right outside in the garbage, so I guess that's why I always ask

I have these disposable plastic diaper bags they are scented like baby powder. If it is a family member/close friend I would wrap it in this bag and put it in there garbage (I usually ask where would they like me to put it) ~ If someone I am not close with sometimes I bring it home with me ~ I put it one of the scented bags and I will dispose when I get home. & if it is someone that has child (they understand) and will let me put it in there diaper genie etc
