Just curious.... How old were you/are you when you started to try to have a baby?

I'm 25.. though I was ready since I got married at 23 We just started this past November. It took that long for DH to get baby fever like me!

I know this seems like an odd question its just that some people that I work with are telling me I should wait! Although they do not know we are actually going to start trying soon! I am completely ready and so is my husband. They are just annoying me.

Don't listen to them. Do what YOU and DH think is right for yourselves. Everyone will always have their own opinion.. Ultimately, it's your life!
I have a friend who is anti-marriage before 30 and is anti baby before 35...... so I don't share any of these details with her! I had a weak moment and confessed that we have been seeing an RE, but beyond that I say nothing. I know she won't be supportive so I don't bother.
When it comes to TTC, you should only surround yourself with positive, supportive people!

We wanted everything in order before we tried. Marriage, buying first house, paying off debt, good, solid careers.
But now we are ready

I'm 29 (about to turn 30). DH and I wanted to wait a few years and enjoy being married. I'm glad we had that time, but if I knew how hard this TTC process would be for me, I would've started a lot earlier.

29. Like Ollie said, we wanted to get everything in order first: careers, house, marriage, and finances straightened out before TTC.
If one more person tells me that I'm "a little behind" or that they were "MUCH younger when" when they had their kids, I'm going to scream.

We started early b/c I have ENDO.. Luckily I got preggo right away with DD.. I was 22 when I concieved and I had her at 23 & DH was 26.. TTC #2 on the other hand is taking longer.. We started TTC#2 a month after I turned 25... looks like I will be at least 26 if/after #2 is here...

aw I hear that! I think that so many of us just have to make it work. Things will never be completely perfect!! But lots of baby dust!!!

Going to be 28 next month. DH is going to be 28 in May. We started TTC last month but have to put it on hold, hopefully can pick it back up by this summer/Fall.

People always have something to say. You get married and they ask when are you popping out kids? It's ridiculous really. Do what YOU want!
