What cleaning products do you use?
I am thinking about changing some of the products I use. Break it down for me
Polishing furniture
Cleaning bathroom tub/toilet/sink
Washing floor (esp pergo type wood floor)
I used vinegar and water for the first time to clean the bathroom and now it stinks like vinegar

For polishing furniture- I use pledge- its alright, I dont love it
bathroom- scrubbing bubbles, I spray the tub leave it sit for about 3-5 minutes and then use a scrub brush and wipe it down then run the shower
toilet- I use the disposable scrubbing bubbles pads- you clean the bowl then flush them- love it!
kitchen- lysol bleach wipes
all floors- i have the shark steam mop- LOVE LOVE LOVE it- my floors are immaculate

Polishing furniture: Murphy's Oil Soap and Greenworks Multi-Purpose Cleaner
Cleaning bathroom tub/toilet/sink: Clorox Clean-up
Washing floor (esp pergo type wood floor): Murphy's Oil Soap
I use Greenworks Multi-Purpose cleaner for everything!

I have the steam mop too and I am not sure how I feel about it. I notice that it leaves streaks. I would like to use a cleaner with it but it says that you shouldn't. Do you have any tips on using this mop?

hmm, I havent had that problem- I do change the water every time though- maybe try using filtered water and see if that helps?

hmm, I havent had that problem- I do change the water every time though- maybe try using filtered water and see if that helps?
I always use new water because the tank is so small and I have to refill it a few times within usage. I think I will try the filtered water idea. Thanks!

I use my own recipe for cleaning everything in the house. I use Castile soap, baking soda, borax, vinegar and hot water. So cheap and lasts a long time and it's earth friendly.
I use Clorox Green Works on the toilet and Scrubbing Bubbles for the tub. (I couldn't give it all up!)
I use Murphys for the wood furniture. Vinegar & water for the floors.

polishing : teak oil and lemon oil. Once a year a very light cleaning with Murphy's, followed by the oils.
bathroom : Softscrub for the tub, Mr Clean for everything else, including the toilet. Every two months or so, the grout gets wiped with peroxide. (doesn't corrode the grout like bleach can)
washing floors : just a damp mop on my hardwood and porcelain tile. No soaps.
Kitchen : warm water for the quartz counters, Mr. Clean for the appliances, baking soda for the sink. Porcelain floor gets warm water wipedown.
Windows : a mix of warm water, vinegar and a drop of dish soap.

The BEST product I have found to clean the tub and toilet is scrubbing bubbles and use the Magic Eraser. My tub is like butter!!!!

Pledge for wood furniture
Clorox clean up for the kitchen
Clorox bathroom cleaner for the bathroom sinks and exterior of the toilet
Ajax for the toilet bowl
Scrubbing bubbles for the tub
Swiffer duster for the wood floors
Shark steam mop for wood floors, kitchen and bathrooms
Every month I use baking soda on my carpets to deodorize

Furniture- Pledge & swiffer dust wand
Hardwood floors- Min wax floor cleaner
Bathroom- Clorox for toilet, spic & span for sink, for the tub I use a bunch of different things magic eraser, soft scrub, ajax, and the Mr. Clean Magic eraser mop which makes my tub cleaning so much easier!!!
Tile floors- daily is my steam mop, once a month is murphys

would you be able to give me some measurements? YOu combine them all in a spray bottle?

I now use the mr. clean magic erasers to clean everything (not the floors or wood obviously) but they work great and are the easiest to use (I'm lazy)
