After going back and forth w/the seller, we've settled on a price!!!!
We made an offer, she countered, we countered back, she came back down a little more and we're accepting. It's 5K more than our last counteroffer, but she will not budge and we don't want to lose this house over 5K. So, assuming all goes well with a closing, i think we're going to be homeowners!!!
After apartment living for so many years, we're so ready for some space, and more than one floor, and grass, and a driveway, oh and my biggest source of excitement.....a washer/dryer!!!!! No more laundromat, woo hoo!!!!!

congrats! i know how you feel. after losing out on so many houses over the bidding process, my FH and I just matched an owners counteroffer even though it was a little bit more that we wanted.. but just think you have a house you love!

It's so frustrating and it's a little more than we wanted to spend but it will be our forever house and we know we'll be so happy there.

Congrats, its the best feeling ever. I went through the same thing. After living in an apartment for 15 years- believe me, you are going to LOVE not sharing walls!

Thanks  Waldwick, not quite the town center feel we were going for, but we liked it the more houses we saw there so we're really happy.

Congratulations! Get ready for some stressful few weeks. We're in contract too and getting everything together is so annoying. I'm confident it will be worth it though.

Thanks Waldwick, not quite the town center feel we were going for, but we liked it the more houses we saw there so we're really happy.
We can still be neighbors...not very far from me, about 10-15 miles!
