Would you girls go to the Melting Pot
My friend is having a bachlorette party next week and they are starting out eating at the Melting Pot. I'm sort of freaked out with all the raw meat. I know its gets cooked just afraid of something raw touching my plate I eat of.

If you are that worried can you just eat the veggies?
Any time I have the option to go dip things in cheese and/or chocolate I would!

I'd go. I'm kind of a nut about food safety, but have to calm down when I go to restaurants because it's out of my control.
There is a chance of raw meat hitting your plate at any restaurant.. at least at the melting pot you can see it happen and get a new one

I just went for Valentine's Day and it was delicious! Just leave your meat in the pot for a little longer if you're worried about it.

I would go! I've been CRAVING the Melting Pot for weeks now!
As far as raw meat touching your plate, they give you a plate to put the cooked meat on. The raw meat is on a separate plate.

DH and I went for a little celebration after we found out we were having 
I just made sure that all my meat was cooked before I ate it. They specifically tell you not to put the raw meat in the plate you eat off of. They'll give you another if you need it.

I went there while I was having contractions!  We just did the cheese & chocolate though - I'm not a fan of the meats/chicken there!

I <3 that place!!! I've been craving fondue for quite some time and we were supposed to go before V-day but thanks to MS we didn't make it.
As everyone else said, if you are uncomfortable there are veggie options.

I went at 3 months pg and ate everything. I was just careful to not let raw meat touch my plate and cooked everything a little longer.

OMG I went once and it was sooo good!!!! Specially the deserts at the end!!!!!!!! I would totally go!!! Just be watchful that nothing raw touches your plate!

it doesn't touch the plate you eat off of. you take it off the raw plate and cook it in the broth then you put the cooked food on your plate.

I went around 4 months and was fine, I i stuck to the potatoes, veggies and steak to be on the safe side - but i think i was just being paranoid... as long as you cook everything you will be fine.
