Do you wash sippy cups after each meal or reuse them?

I've been giving DS a new sippy cup with each meal or snack. I'd rather not wash so many cups if I don't have to. I'd still wash the cups with milk after each use, but can I reuse the sippy cups that had water in them? What do you do?

I've reused and just wiped the part where their mouth goes on. I guess it depends. If we were out and about I'd switch, but just sitting on the counter with only water I'd reuse.

DD has 2 sippy cups a day.

Milk one-- she gets one full one of milk in the morning. I stick it back in the fridge until she gets her afternoon cup of milk...then it goes in the dishwasher.

Water one-- she gets one in the morning and uses it all day/night. Goes in the dishwasher at the end of the day.

Christopher has 3 per day.

Milk cup in the am, he finishes it, so it goes in the dishwasher

Straw juice/water cup that he uses throughout the day

Milk cup at night, he usually finishes, but it does come into his room (he doesn't drink it, but he likes it in there )

I refill throughout the day and rinse the top in hot water.
