Suggestions for a travel bed for 3 yr old (Pics)
I am trying to decide what to do about a travel bed for Troy. I'd prefer something that is collapsable and easy to take in the car for when we take trips (or stay at SIL's or a friend's).
I used the PNP last weekend when staying at SIL's house, and determined he is TOO big for it.
I'm trying to decide if I should get a cot (like he uses at daycare), a blow up mattress or the PeaPod Plus (as seen at One Step Ahead).
Feedback on any of the above? TIA!!

We bought the air mattress for traveling and it is great. DD slept better in it than her bed. Mine is very similar to the one you have and I love that I can use her regular sheets on it too. It folds up nice and small and blows up in about a minute. Best investment!!

My parents have the air mattress for Christopher for when he sleeps at their apartment in the city and they haven't had any issues with it at all

Re: Suggestions for a travel bed for 3 yr old (Pics)
I use an air mattress for my boys when needed and it is perfect for our needs. THey may roll off at times but we usually just surround it will pillows in case. My boys move a lot in their sleep. My youngest has used it a few times and he is 2.5 yrs and my oldest still uses it and he is 5 yrs. Use it at my moms house and when we go on vacations - even took it to Disney last year when my son was 27 mos.

Thank You so much for posting this. My DS is 3 and we are going to my inlaws in FL in a couple weeks. That air mattress looks great. Can I ask where its from?

For a 3 year old, I would definitely do an air mattress.

This is what we use and LOVE it, plus it's cheap. We bought it at Target in Levittown. I believe it was around $25. It comes in a great storage bag and also came with the foot pump.

We have kid aerobeds which I really like. DS has been using it since he was 2 and we've had no problems. It rolls up into it's own bag and comes with a pump and a sheet.

We have a princess bed which is really a cot that folds up but I can't seem to find it online now. My cousin got it as a gift from TRU

Re: Suggestions for a travel bed for 3 yr old (Pics)
I'd go with the air mattress! In fact, I *am* going with the air mattress! We are going to Disney in a few weeks and I am not comfortable with DD sleeping on a bed (she is still in a crib at home). I like that the air mattress has little sides to keep them in!
ETA: What is the purpose of the nylon bed cover? Do you think it's necessary
