Babies R Us Vent
I must ask, do they employ only brain dead idiots in the store by me? Or do they just happen to have the worst communication and computer systems?
SIL went into the store up on LI to buy my highchair off of our registry. They told her that they couldn't have it delivered to my house. They had her purchase it in the store and told her that the store by me (in Boca Raton, FL) would call me to have me pick it up. She did this over a week ago.
Today, she called me and asked me if we got the high chair-we did not, I had no clue about it and wondered why they wouldn't just deliver it to my house. Whatever. So I call the BRU here and they have me on the phone with 5 different people, all equally useless and they tell me they have no clue what I am talking about. Not one would let me give them my name or my registry number. They wouldn't look it up and just told me-call your SIL and have her deal with it. Nice.  
In the end, it appears that the errant high chair was located (it may or may not be on their truck), but first, how rude, and second, what kind of computers must they be using where they cannot pull up my registry and see what I am talking about.
UGH!

Seriously, you'd think they would make things EASIER for people with registries! I hope you get your high chair soon and without any more crap!!!!

Totally!!
I have 4 things on my registry that I didn't add. $24 onsies from carters. I want them gone but I can't erase them online so I called the store and they tell me to just keep trying online. 
2 days later and they are still on my registry and I'm going down there tomorrow and giving them he ll about getting them off.

I despise them and anticipated this. However, I had to because there aren't enough BBBs around and DH has a lot of relatives who won't order online.

We just ordered a childs rocking chair from BRU for my cousin and when it was delievered it was all the wrong pieces. It was all separate pieces from different rocking chairs.

I'll add this the ridiculous stories about them lately.
I won't be registering with them for anything. I don't want to deal with the stupidty that is BBRus.

I ordered the matching nightlight to my crib set twice and both times it got canceled like 2 weeks later. I guess they just don't carry it anymore (I had a hard time finding it at other stores too- but finally got one from babysupermall). Anyway, why can't they just change it to UNAVAILABLE or Out of Stock OR just take it off their website!! So yeah, I agree, lol.
OHH and also I "completed" my registry over the phone b/c I called to get the coupon code and the rep said if I ordered w/ her it was exactly the same as doing it online- and I specifically asked if I would still get the free shipping over $100- she said absolutely- and of course I DIDN'T...

I would be livid! They just make me  -how do you stay in business like this? How can you not figure this stuff out? If you don't carry it, take it off the site. If you change the listing, update registries so it doesn't appear in store only. And if someone does what my SIL did, note it on the registry so I don't do a run around. I cannot believe they told me-call your SIL and have her deal with the store she bought it from.
I hope by the time I have DC 2, BBB opens a lot more stores, because I will not be using BRU again. They are morons!
