Nail Salon in Westbury?
I'd like to get a mani/pedi while DD is in class. I've been to 2 places on Post and didn't like either.
Any suggestions where to go? TIA....

If you're willing to drive 5 minutes further, I like Babi on Old Country Road in the shopping center just past the mall. Technically in Glen Cove, I guess? It's next to the Barnes & Noble in the shopping center where Tower used to be. I drive out of my way to go there, and even had them do my mani/pedi for my wedding.

I go to the nail salon on Glen Cove Road in the Country Glen Center. It's between Carters & Party City. My nails always come out good.

I second Babi. They are great! I used to go there when I worked in the area.

Re: Nail Salon in Westbury?
Not sure how much time you have but there is a Dashing Divas on Glen Cove Road in East Hills. Probably a 10 minute drive north.

I hate to rain on the Babi parade with my story, but here goes: I recently moved to the area and thought I found my new nail salon when I walked into Babi, that is until this woman went bat shite crazy on the nail tech because he only rinsed his tools with water between customers. The woman was horrified and livid, but the tech insisted that's what they always do and there was nothing wrong with it. I too was horrified, but I stayed quiet since I was about to leave. I still feel bad that I didn't back the woman up because that is pretty nasty! Needless to say, I'll never go back.
