Can you have a period and still be pregnant?

Hello ladies, I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on my weird situation. According to mymonthlycycles I was supposed to ovulate on or around Jan.16 ( but it is based on "general" 14 days " rule, as I have not started using opk yet to determine when I ovulate). So I did not feel anything on or around 16. My DH and I had unprotected sex on Jan.30 ( sorry for TMI, but he pulled out before he let anything out, or so we think). Next morning I woke up feeling strange tension in my right side, I thought nothing of it and went on. My period was due 2/9. I started having some digestive issues about 2 weeks ago, could not eat much, very bloated, but I do have acid reflux, so I attributed that to reflux. Last week we were having dinner and after I ate some fish, I felt this horrible nausea and was barely able to make it to the bathroom. I do not remember myself vomiting this badly for the last 10 years. Anyway, 2/14 I woke up with pain in lower abdomen and had some brown discharge. It looked like my period started, but it was very weird. Sorry for TMI, but most of it was brown, not red and in total amount of blood is much less than usual. So here I am .. Thinking and not willing to test, since really.. What is the chance? What do you ladies think? Any advice? thanks

Are you still seeing the brown stuff, or was it just that one day?

No, it is still on, now it is red, but not much ( not what i would expect from a normal period).

If it started on Sunday, I'd say it's probably your period.
Sometimes mine starts brown or is spotty instead of a regular flow--no idea why.
If it'll make you feel better, you could test. Or call your dr. since it's different from your regular AF.
