Where do you buy your furniture?
I am getting married in July and starting to get ideas of bedroom, living room, dining and kitchen sets. I want to go someplace that is reasonable, but where their furniture will last us for a while. Where do you all go for your furniture?

Re: Where do you buy your furniture?
I just bought bedroom furniture at The Place on rt. 110...it was very reasonable and seems like it is good quality. I also bought a couch and chair from there 2 years ago and they are holding up great.

I also say The Place on 110. We got our den and kitchen set there and loved it.

Re: Where do you buy your furniture?
I've had good luck at Penn Furniture on Rte 112, Kitchen Dinette in Selden (Rte 25) and Raymour and Flanigan.
Try Rte 110 too! They have a ton of furniture stores to visit.

Re: Where do you buy your furniture?
we got our dining room furniture from bobs. we are not happy. 7 months into owning this stuff, the chair legs are coming lose all the time, it can be tightened w/ allen keys, but it's annoying. we spent less, but i guess we got what we paid for w/ buying from bobs...
we got our living room couches from ashleys. we are very happy with them.
we got our bedroom furniture from raymour and flannigan. we are very happy with them too

Re: Where do you buy your furniture?
craigslist. we have had such crazy success. I really believe that as long as you are not in a rush, you can find anything on there.
I knew I wanted the Restoration Hardware Blaine 11 drawer for my boy's room. Over 1400 in the store...got on craigslist, never used, was in spare bedroom....for 350.00.
Our table...we wanted the pottery barn one...would cost 2k...farmhouse style. For 750.00 found one that is made out of restored barn wood. Husband and wife team, he is artist, she is carpenter. Beautiful and exactly what we wanted. the thing is so heavy.
My couch! Wanted a mitchell gold slipcover down. 4K. Got it for under 400.00 with 2 matching ottomans. was in a formal living room in a million dollar home for a year. Too casual for formal room. no pets, no smoke. dream come true for us.
i can go on and on. When I am out there buying real pieces for a fraction of the price, everything else seems like we are settling on quality.
