Jen - counting my blessings...

SPR: my first baby (furbaby) is sick
My dog Casey is sick. My DH and I were in the basement playing with the baby in the playroom and we heard noises upstairs. We go up to see and Casey is laying on the floor with her legs out, drooling, shaking, paws clenched. My DH took her to the animal hospital and I am waiting to hear what's going on... :(

Ohhhh I'm hoping she's okay. Just to make you feel better...my doggy too has been having seizures like that for 3 years & has been okay.

my siberian husky had a siezure disorder and had siezures once a week or so, we would pet him until the siezure was over and he lived to be 19

One of my dogs developed a seizure disorder as he got older. He was prescribed a medication that reduced his seizures to almost never, maybe once a year or so.
I hope Casey is OK.

Thank you so much everyone! They took blood from her but said they couldn't find anything wrong...very strange. So we will be keeping an eye on her. She's still not "herself" though, know what I mean? :(

My first dog was an amazing dog named Casey so i have a special place in my heart for doggies of that name

This is what I was thinking too!!!! My dog is a total scavenger and sometimes she eats something that disagrees with her and has strange reactions!!! I really hope Casey feels better tomorrow!!!
