Uppababy in black or silver?

I cannot decide what color to get the new 2010 Uppavista in. Do you think it is problematic to get the stroller in black (like it may get too hot in the sun)? I guess I would like it in silver but none of the stores have it in stock in that color.

I really don't like any of their color choices especially since I am having a girl.

I love the green color, its gender neutral.

i originally wanted to the black, i LOVED it in the pics, and had my heart set on it...but honestly, when i saw it in person, i wasn't wild about it - it was almost TOO MUCH black, with the wheels and handlebars and little plastic pieces being black too. and in my personal opinion, the black didn't look as "sharp" as the ones with another color involved. i would highly recommend visiting one in a store first.

and when i looked online, my reaction to the colors was "eew, who would get that orange one!!" but when i saw the orange in the store, DH and i LOVED it and ended up getting it.

long story short - check the colors out in person before you spend all that money.

we are considering the silver one...figured the black might get too hot in the sun.

the silver seemed to be neutral...so thats why we picked it.

IMHO I wouldn't get a black one b/c it will show every crumb and speck of dirt.

Ok, we got the silver. They are shipping it to us from a store out-of-state. Thanks for the help.

I didn't like any of the colors, and ended up deciding on silver.

My sister bought us the stroller, she got a great deal on the 2009 in silver.

You really have to see the colors in person, so shop around call ahead to see what colors stores have in stock. And often with smaller mom and pop stores you can haggle on price (as well as negotiate a "tax rebate" if you pay cash)

Not sure if they have the 2010 yellow color (Maya) in stores yet but that's the one I got. Don't know if we're having a boy or girl and it's the perfect color for both, very soft and not too bright. It's a limited edition and I highly recommend making a decision on color and buying it from an on-line store. You'll save yourself the tax and they usually offer free shipping.
