Yet another question!

Just wanted to say thanks for everyone's help..it is nice to be able to come in here when I have a question...

I got my smiley on Friday...my temps are still low and show no signs of post-o temps. I know Deanna's plan says 3 days in a row from positive OPK and then wait a day and then do one more in case of late ovulation....I guess that means that even though the OPK turned positive 4 days ago, it is possible to only be ovulating now, right? Has this ever happened to anyone?

Of course, I know the other option is that I'm just not ovulating this month, but I've never experienced that so I'm hoping it's not starting now!

Thanks in advance. :)

Follow up question--

Through much research, it seems like it is likely that my body geared up to O but didn't. If this has happened to any of you, did you O later that cycle or just not at all that cycle. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Right, your body probably geared up to O, but didn't. How long have you been temping and using OPKs? If it's been a few cycles, can see a change in temp following a positive OPK for past cycles? Of course, it is possible to not O in a cycle, but you could just be Oing later, especially if you've recently come off BC.

Re: Yet another question!

Came of BCP in August. i have temped/used OPKs for 3 cycles--for all of them I have seen a shift after the positive. Also, had I not had the positive on Friday, I would've expected to O yesterday, today or tomorrow. I'm hoping it was a fluke. When I tested again a few hours later that day, it was negative.

Hmmmm Ive had a + OPK and had low temps for 4 days and then on the 5th day, I had my temperature rise up... so I ended up O'ing on the 4th day. Hopefully your temps will go up tomorrowChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
