You know you are officially a homeowner when...
A contractor comes over to give you an estimate and he shows you samples of crown molding and you act like a kid in a candy store....holding up different moldings as your face lights up like a Christmas tree!
My DH had to tell me to calm down!
My how times have changed! I used to get that way over expensive clothes and handbags! I must have grown up and didnt even realize it!

When you get sooo excited that you finally have a fridge that dispenses water and ice 
When you begin to freeze in your house bc you refuse to turn on the heat bc it costs too damn much to run

ha ha us too! we wear sweats and cuddle under blankets all winter long!
ETA Ive purchased snuggies for my guests for when they visit...they are cheaper than cranking up the heat!

I 1000% agree with this too tho! I swore forever when I had my own place that I would make it 80 degrees in the house if I wanted to b/c I'm always cold. It's a hot day in the house now if it goes past 68 tho!!
