Need advice on crown molding
I'm trying to pick molding for my DDs' rooms and I have a few questions. Any help is appreciated!
1) Is "finger-jointed" molding bad, or poor quality? All the moldings I see that I like are finger jointed.
2) What about polyurethane molding? Again a few that I like are made of this material.
TIA!!

Re: Need advice on crown molding
i try to get DH to buy the composite molding b/c it's cheaper (is that what you are referring to when you say "polyurethane"?) and he refuses to work with anything but wood. it doesn't cut clean or something like that...

Re: Need advice on crown molding
we used the poly-urethane molding in our bedroom because we wanted to paint it white- no one can tell that its not real

and this is the wood molding that we put up in our living room

I am not sure what the other type of molding is that you are referring to
