If you registered for it, who bought/is buying your breast pump?

I feel silly adding such a high cost item to my registry, but at the same time...I figure...I might as well. If no one buys it, then i will. My mom already told me she wants to buy us the stroller (which is great!). But I just don't know if anyone else would really feel comfortable buying a breast pump for me....KWIM? Plus...they are not cheap. I mean...I personally would not buy that for someone unless I was real close with them...don't know why, it just seems like a personal gift. Am I wrong?

I didn't put a breast pump on my registry...once i decided I was going to breast feed my family already bought a ton of sh!t...I really don't anyone else buying be such a high priced item. I figured we will either buy it at the end with gift cards or find one cheaper from somewhere else.

I added it to my regitry but I'm going to see if it's covered by my insurance first.

I think my mom or one of my SIL's wold buy it for me but I don't think like one of my friensd would get it for me.

I didn't register for a regular one. just a manual on the go one.

I want to try BF, but I'm not sure if I can, if I'll like it, etc. I didn't want to get something that expensive and use it and then not be able to return it if I can't BF or decide not to.

So, I'm going to see what happens and if I need it, I'll get it on my own.

I wasn't going to but I did because why not. I figure if anyone does buy it it will most likely be like a "group gift" KWIM? I can see the girls from work all chipping in for a big ticket item because they have done things like that for my bday. I also want to see if insurance will cover it so if thats the case I will remove it from the registry.

I registered for it. I am sure my mom or MIL will end up buying it. Our another family member like an aunt. Sometimes friends like to chip in for more expensive items too. I figure if no one buys it I will buy it with gift cards, and my completion discount. Or we can return some stuff we get that isn't on the registry. I am not going to open it until I have established BF, that way if I can BF I can return it.

i registered for one. i thought of it this way, chances are no one will be it for me, but with gift cards and the discount we get after the baby is born, i'll buy it with that. i prob won't even buy it until i've been BF and know if i want to continue (or can even do it for that matter).
