Poll: Do people still like Tupperware?

I love it and got suckered into hosting a party. So far, barely anyone is interested in coming...except for the older ladies.

Is Tupperware not cool anymore???

We have a bunch of Tupperware stuff. We also use empty margarine tubs and Chinese takeout soup containers....

The last time I went to a party, I bought alot of stuff. I have been disapppointed with EVERY peice of it. It gets stained, the covers don't fit so tight. I have to say clearly over the years tupperware has cheaped out b/c their products are not half as durable and well made as they used to be. We still have a few of my GRANDMOTHER"S tupperware, which definitely has held up better than the ones I purchased about 8 years ago. So I dont buy it anymore.

I use a lot of the throw-away stuff, but for certain things I still love tupperware.

Especially for freezing things!!

My SIL had a brochure that I looked at once. I loved the stuff in it but it was too expensive for me. I esp. loved the cake holder that flips over and can be used as a cupcake holder

I went to a party fairly recently. Their everyday tupperware stuff is way too expensive, especailly now that they have those disposable gladware/ziploc containers.

However, there are some very cool tools, large bowls, and trays, that people purchased and weren't too much $$.

But yeah, for the most part, Tupperware is just too expensive.

I have some new stuff, some really old stuff (avocado green and orange from the 70's that belonged to my mom).
The old stuff seals better than the new stuff.
I bought some pieces from a friend at a home party, and supplement that with Gladware/Ziploc disposibles.

I go by "wave" when buying this stuff.

I went to a party then got "$ucked" into hosting on.

Honestly, I had to cancel. Only 2 were really going to show up. Everyone cancelled on me.

And even the person I went to the party, she did not meet the criteria for a bunch of free stuff.

I use gladware, zip lock, and rubbermaid.

I also use chinese plastic containers.

I have no tupperware.

I love the Tupperware that I already have, but it is expensive. I have all of my mom's old tupperware because she used to sell it, so we slipt them up and she has half and I have half. Some of it isn't the nicer colors, but they are still in good condition.

It's expensive, so I don't buy a lot or often, but they still have some items that I like much better than anything else that's out there.

i don't

i won't microwave or freeze anything in plastic so I have some chinese food containers to hold stuff ( like fruit ) for work and i am making a transition to corningware and pyrex.

I have TONS of it and I love it!!! I actually got probably $500 in Tupperware for my bridal shower from 2 of DH's cousin (they each had several parties, both here and NC, so I'm sure they got a lot of the stuff free). I do use the gladware/ziploc containers to to send leftovers home with people.

i hate it, personally.

only because if you put sauce in it, it can stain, and i hate heating things in plastic.

i prefer glass containers, but they are kinda pricey.
