Suggestions Please (with Pics)

So I just rearranged my living room and I need to find something to put in front of my front windows. I do not want a chair because my dogs sits on it to look out the window and started ruining the chair, which is why I rearranged in the first place. So what kind of piece do you think would look nice there and go with the style of the living room

*sidenote* please ignore the too short curtains, I am buying new rods and lowering them this week LOL

To be quite honest, I wouldn't put anything there!

I'm a big believer that every wall doesn't need to have something on it. I think if you put up some very elegant curtains with some fancy pull backs, that should be enough

However, if you want to put something there, I would suggest something simple like a small rounded console table.

Good luck!!

I don't think I would put anything there either. Maybe a plant that stands on the floor, but not too big. Or a plant stand with one plant on top. Nothing too big. But I don't think you really need anything.

ETA: Maybe you can just put something to the left of the curtains to balance out the wall. I see something on the right side. Just a thought.

Re: Suggestions Please (with Pics)

A console table would be too high for the window.
I'm a plant person, so I would do a medium sized plant in a gorgeous pot on a raised plant stand that is not too high, maybe 6 to 8 inches high.
I wouldn't want to detract from the windows, especially if you plan on new drapes.

You know what, I think you girls are right. I think I should just leave it open without putting anything there. Just need to get new curtain rods and lower them so they hit the floor. Thanks for putting things into perspective for me. Thats why i love these boards Chat Icon
