HELP!!!!! Prenatal Vitamins and Morning Sickness
Has anyone experienced morning sickness each time the prenatal vitamins is taken? I have tried taking it with food, with out food, at night in the morning midday and the results are generally the same---nausea followed by BRAFFING.

Im taking over the counter ones and the doctor said thats just fine
I take mine RIGHT before I go to sleep so I dont get nauseas and that seems to work.

Both of my pregnancies I have had problems with my prenatals. With my 1st I was able to take the over the counter Target brand and keep them down.
This time around I tried a bunch of prenatals and then ended up with kiddie vitamins and a folic acid supplement. They still make me sick so I take them when I can.

I take mine in bed right before I go to sleep, this way im sleeping if it upsets my stomach or makes me nauseous. If that doesnt help, ask the doctor to switch you to something more gentile.

Abi, try an OTC brand such as Stuart Prenatal it is in a purple bottle. Feel better hun!

my doctor said it was ok not to take vitamins if they made me sick until I stop puking, I am just taking extra folic acid...

I second the Stuart prenatals, I took them when I couldn't stomach the prescription vitamins my OB gave me and they didn't make me nauseous. I bought them from the vitamin aisle at Stop & Shop.

Mine too. I was getting VIOLENTLY ill every single time no matter what we tried. I just paid a lot more attention to what vitamins I was taking in w/ my food- esp. the folate/ folic acid.

Stop taking them if they aren't agreeing with you, I never took any with either of my pregnancies and I had a healthy baby and this pregnancy is going well. Just eat a balanced diet and take folic acid on its own. GOod luck!

For DS I went through 16 different prenatal vitamins until settling on the Flinstone gummy vitamins plus a folic acid pill. Good luck!

I had one pill with fishoil or something and I made the mistake of taking it in the am. ughh i was so sick all day.
i have flavored ones and I take them at night.
hope it gets better for you .

Change your vitamins! Luckily I haven't had this experience. I would find one that works best for you and your tummy.
