Non-money donations to Haiti, anyone know how?

So, I've already donated money (what I can) to the red cross. I know we are weeks before this but

does anybody know where we could donate the following items (womens/mens clothing, baby clothes/supplies/diapers/etc, non-perishable foods/health-beauty items-soaps, band-aids,etc)? I know after Katrina they set-up collecting stations on LI. I wonder if you think the same will be done.

Also, are they doing any Haiti blood drives yet? I know this is early since right now its a search/rescue/medical/etc situation.

I want to do more but I finanically gave all I could so I thought this would be another way.

Thanks!

I heard them say on the news that they don't want physical items. It costs $$$ to get them there and they'd rather buy them in the region to support the local economy. Don't know if they're still maintaining that position, but that was the last I heard HTHChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I think they might have things likes this maybe in a few months _ they are bombarded right now with flights of food, medicine, and water.

While clothing is important too, I think they have to rebuild some of their roads and stuff to make distribution possible.

maybe hang on to some things and see if there are more options in a month or so.
