Almost missed it! (kind of long)

Yet another exciting month. I mean that with more sarcasm than you can imagine! Last week, exactly a month after my father died, my MIL passed away. Needless to say, again falling into bad timing with my cycle. Last month I had my IUI a week after my father passed.

This month, same scenario. I was suppose to do bloodwork and sono on Monday, but services were in Florida and we didnt get back until Tuesday night. So yesterday morning I went to the RE. Got my call last night that my LH surge already started(4 days earlier in my cycle than last month) and to come in for IUI today. Now, I just find out, they want to do another one tomorrow. I have never had a double IUI. Don't really understand why, but I am going with the flow. I know its not uncommon though.

I guess I am in good shape though. I had 2 follies on each side yesterday, the most dominate measuring 14. Today's sono showed that it grew to 19. I guess as much as my body is FINALLY ready, I am annoyed that my head isnt. My Dh and I havent even been able to BD regularly b/c of being away, in hotels, with family members for the last week and I feel like it is taking that "natural" part of it away. Dont get me wrong, I am excited about the opportunity after waiting for almost 2 years for things to work out, but the timing sucks!

Ughh so sorry you're dealing with all of this. As if ttc isn't difficult enough! I hope all goes well with the IUI! Good luck!
