Anyone plan to go on a PRE-baby vacay???
DH is insisting that we plan a trip for June-ish as a PRE-baby vacation. I wouldn't mind it either, actually!!  This could be very relaxing if I'm already preggo by then (fingers crossed!) and if I'm not, this could spice things up a bit!! 
Is anyone else planning on doing the same thing?? I'm trying to find a nice, tropical place to spend a week at. We've already been to DR, PR, Mexico, Bahamas, Bermuda... any recommendations???

We are! We opted to finally take our honeymoon on our 5 month anniversary next month! We felt like we couldn't really wait much longer because of his work schedule, my work schedule, and not being able to plan too far out in case I get pregnant.

We are! We opted to finally take our honeymoon on our 5 month anniversary next month! We felt like we couldn't really wait much longer because of his work schedule, my work schedule, and not being able to plan too far out in case I get pregnant.

I would love to but I also want to save my vacation time for maternity leave. So we will probably do a long weekend somewhere.

We went to Antigua for our HM and LOVED it. I'd love to do a trip pre-baby but it would have to be inexpensive. Maybe a 5 night cruise or something.

Last January we took a pre baby vacation b/c we wanted to start TTC in may...well here we are at January again, 1 m/c and still TTC lol
Our friends wanted us to go away but I kept saying I might be pregnant I might be pregnant..and I didn't want to pay all that money just to feel sick...but again I'm still not pregntant..lol
if i am not pg this month we are going to plan a last minute trip for next month and maybe make a vacation baby..and If I am I want to go away at like the 5 month mark..i think it would be a good time then.

We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and it was AWESOME!! If you want suggestions of places (we traveled throughout) FM me!
DH and I have been doing lots of pre-baby vacationing! Over the summer when we were beginning to TTC we went to Bermuda and Italy! Thinking about going away over February break too! We want to do as much as we can while there is still no baby.

In the last year we did Ireland (luck of the Irsh) and Punta Cana. Punta Cana was for our 3 year wedding anniversary/head clearing vacation. Things got better afterwards! Ireland was a last minute, "trip of a lifetime" that we couldnt pass up.
I hear Aruba is nice!

Our trip to Mexico this past September was supposed to be our last big trip before a baby. We go on a trip every year for our anniversary, but I don't know if we will this year - PG or not. My maternity leave will not be paid so I am trying to save as much vacation time as possible. We are going to PA for a long weekend in June with a huge group so that should be fun. Maybe we'll do another trip sometime this year - we'll see.
ETA: I highly recommend any of the Excellence resorts. Playa Mujeres is unbelievable! Check out the roof-top terrace rooms!

We are planning to arrange for a vacation sometime over the summer ... whether it's a pre-pregnancy vacation or babymoon remains to be seen
