For moms who spaced out vaccines....
DS is having his 2 mons shots next week. I def am planning to space out his shots. I read Dr Sears book and was thinking of following his schedule but im also thinking i might want to do the DTaP shot all on its own.
Anyway, would you be willing to share how you had your DC vaccinated?
THANKS

we really are not following any schedule we just don't let them give him more the two shots at a time i told them thats the max in one visit.. and they agreed i tried to get one but they wouldn't do that for us.

Re: For moms who spaced out vaccines....
My ped. gives two vaccines at the most at one time. I only give 1 vaccine per month.
This was DS #1's schedule. Unfortunately DS #2 is way behind and has only had 1 vaccine so far because he has been sick the past few weeks.
2 mo - Hib 3 mo - DTap 4 mo - Polio 5 mo - Dtap 6 mo - PCV 7 mo - Hib 8 mo - Polio 9 mo - PCV 10 mo - no vaccine he was sick 11 mo - Polio (last booster until at age 4) 12 mo - no vaccine he was sick 13 mo - PCV 14 mo - Dtap 15 mo - PCV 16 mo - Hep B 18 mo - Hep A 27 mo - DTaP (last booster until at age 4)
My DS never got the rotovirus, chickenpox or flu vaccines. I also have not given him the MMR yet. He will most likely get that in a couple of months. I think he still needs a couple more Hep A & B shots but I am not really worried about those. I'll probably ask the dr at his next visit.
ETA: I also spaced out the DTaP vaccine big time. It was the only vaccine DS ever had a reaction too (fever) and it actually concerns me more than the MMR vaccine. DS #2 has gotten his first DTaP vaccine because of it being winter and the threat of pertussis but I will probably skip that for awhile and hit the Polio, PCV and HIB vaccines first.
