Had a little scare this morning...
Hi ladies,
This morning I woke up early to pee, to find some blood. I immediately started crying because of our previous m/c. Last time we didn't go to the hospital, but because I am further along, I told DH I wanted to go.
We went to the ER and they did an internal and saw that my cervix was closed and they didn't see any bleeding. I also had a internal sonogram and thankfully, everything was okay! DH and I were able to here the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I'm measuring 9w2d only a few days off from where I thought I was. I also apparently have an UTI, something I've never had before.
I feel so grateful, but am taking it easy today. I have a Dr. appointment scheduled for tomorrow, so I'm eager to talk with my regular Dr.

Oh geez! Glad you are okay Tricia! It is probably from the UTI-I had bleeding from a UTI in the past.

Glad to hear everything is ok. I agree the bleeding was prob caused by the infection. It is common. That must have been so scary. I know when I had some bleeding a few weeks ago I freaked out.

So glad to hear everything is ok!
I agree with the PP, the bleeding is most likely from the UTI, i've had that before and they are common with pregnancy.
Hope you feel better soon!
