I just had a mini panic attack when I put on channel 30!! Thank GOD Fios just became available in our area!

Fios is in our area too and if this doesn't get resolved soon I will be changing over to Fios. I will miss Channel 12 News though. But I watch HGTV more.

i was just online looking at Fios, bc Im so ******, first we had to get another cable box bc we lost virtually all channels between 27 and 53 without one and now this. We just keep getting less and less service but for more money.
This was my last straw.

Done. But, it's not enough.
Earlier today I sent Cablevision, Newsday and Scripps emails about this because I was so mad. Plus, I put the Wall Steet Journal's article about it on Digg.
Definitely sent cablevision an email. The more it hears from subscribers threatening to switch away, the more it will understand how we feel and be likely to settle with Scripps.

I'm so mad as well and my husband and I have been thinking about switching and this might just prompt us to do it if they don't resolve it sooner. I thought it was unfair that they'd take it off the air because of their money disputes. They should try to resolve it as they had been doing it and if the agreement is not to be done, then they should have taken it off the air..not like this. I find both of those companies responsible and hate the fact that us as customers have to put up with this.

I'm so mad about this too, my hubby assures me they will get it back, they are negotiating with them, he works for cable. These are my 2 fav channels

i don't know if you guys heard about this but it's basically hgtv & food networks fault. cablevision was paying 8 cents a prescriber, now they're asking for 24 cents.. that's absolutely ridiculous. it's really food networks/hgtv fault

You guys are right about Scripts, but I want my HGTV back. They need to meet in the middle than. They aren't top 10 and they should understand that. I don't want to switch over to Fios, I'm happy where I am right now. I guess we will see over this week what happens. But Scripts should be ashamed of themselves for asking for so much and for taking the shows off while they try to come to an agreement.

unfortunately that's the truth DH works for Cablevision and although they're in negotiations, Scripps won't budge. The only way to make the 24 cents would be to increase subscribers bills... which theyre trying not to do... this suucks
