hgtv and cablevision
did cablevision really get rid of HGTV as of midnight??? I saw the banners all day on the bottom of the screen about it but didn't really take it seriously.. now I just turned it on and got nothing but a black screen????

Re: hgtv and cablevision
Yes, I just got an email about it. I won't be using Cablevision if this is the case. Those are the only 2 cable channels we watch!

Re: hgtv and cablevision
I had no idea and turned it on when I went to bed late last night.
I'll miss it, but I don't want my rates to go up b/c of it.

Re: hgtv and cablevision
Scripts network cancelled hgtv and FOOD NETWORK on cablevison!!!
I was soo sad i LOVE food Network. Plus i think we should get a discount on our cable bills now that we dont get those two main channels! Not a good way to start the new years! haha :)

Re: hgtv and cablevision
Just give it a day or two and they will be back. Cablevision is negotiating with their parent company right now, and couldn't reach an agreement before midnight. Same thing happened with Noggin last year and it was back within a day. I'm just not sure with the holiday if any negotiations are going on today.
