in need of some major fashion help

I am so at a loss as to where to shop. I recently lost almost 60 pounds, and am still going... but I have no clothes to wear. I think I am a 16 now... I tried on some old pants I have hanging around. The problem is... I am short. Does anyone have any suggestions for jean and pants? I tried Macy's, the Gap, but no luck. I dared ask a saleswoman at jcrew what the largest size pants they carry, and was told 12 and 14... so I know I'm not ready (yet!). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Re: in need of some major fashion help

NY and Co, Ann Taylor and Old Navy all go up to size 16-18 and carry nice clothing. I myself am a size 16 (well probably 14 now after my weight loss) and I shop at these places all the time. NY and CO and Old Navy are far less expensive then Ann Taylor. But if you go to Ann Taylor Loft you can find really good prices and the clothes are very high quality.

Good for you on your weight loss! Keep up the good work.

First of all- congratulations on your weight loss. I bet you look amazing.

Def try Old Navy, Eddie Bauer, Gap and my favorite place TJ Maxx.

Congrats!!! I would try Old Navy. If you are still losing then just buy enough to get you through. Old Navy is having or will be having a sale on jeans for $15 (I think)

You dont want to spend tons of cash only to buy new stuff when you lose more.

I'm new here but The Avenue starts at size 14 and has some great new stuff....In the past they were geared towards an older customer, but over the past few months they have gotten much younger and very trendy....they have embelished jeans and some great tops as well....They are also reasonably priced...much cheaper then Lane Bryant...try it out...Great winter sidewalk sale going on now...
