Is this a new fashion trend???
i recently went to a barbeque/graduation party for my managers son...well, one of his friends (female), i guess she was around 17 or 18 years old, showed up wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. no biggie, right?..............well.....
she was ALSO wearing ------ LEG WARMERS!!!!... she had them more around her ankles then anything, but COME ON!!!! LEG WARMERS???????? is this trendy ???

i have a tough enough time NOT stripping right there in my driveway before I get into the house, let alone put on some leg warmers!!!! I WOULD SUFFOCATE!!!!!

I like how the leg warmers look, but NOT in summer...fall yes, winter yes....They have a TON of boots out now too that the tops look like legwarmers....
I think to pull off the leg warmer look you need to be skinny though.
The idea of the trend is to wear them with more short skirts/shorts , so its more of a late summer/fall trend....
Ahhh to be a skinny 18 yr old!

Yes, my high school students were wearing them this past year.
Actually they were equally moronic because they were wearing them in the snow... ok, that's good, but with FLIP-FLOPS IN THE SNOW!!!
We had one day when it started to snow a few inches before dismissle and one of the female students asked me what she should do... I told her, buy a pair of SHOES... it's January, Honey DUH!

I have seen a few girls wear them in some city clubs and I have seen a few that look nice. But 95% of the time they look pretty bad!
