Need Help with Windown Treatments

The main part of our house is all open plan - sitting area goes into dining area around into living room/den/kitchen etc. Area is very light and airy.

We need to put up the window treatments for the sitting area - first area when you walk into the house - so it's a long (ceiling to floor) narrow single pane window next to door and set of large windows next to it (in sitting area.) I can go in any color direction - walls are cream, light tile floors and neutral/beige carpeting.

What would you do?

I was thinking possibly something in the red family?

Suggestions? Thanks!!

Re: Need Help with Windown Treatments

I looked through my pics and don't have one of the area - still have to learn how to use my new camera! So - the best I could find for now is the virtual online tour from when house was on the market this summer - so it's all the old owner's stuff and colors in there - sorry!

If you click on virtual tour and then pan left - it's the two windows next to the front door - the long narrow one (they had a small table in front of it) and the larger next to it. There is no more blue carpet - we ripped that out - neutral light beige carpet is going in next week. Walls are Behr Baked Brie - a light cream color. Sorry that's all I have for now! But as I said, palette is "no color" right now so I can go any style, any direction...

Thanks!!

1st link is house tour - second is paint color.
