Hip clicking

I have noticed the past couple of days that my 4 1/2 month old's hips click when I change his diaper. I've never heard it before and he was just at his 4 month well visit last week and they checked his hips. I just started using teh excersaucer this week, I wonder if that could be a problem.
I'm going to call the ped today, but has anyone ever had this happen? I'm a little worried about hip dysplasia.

DD had hip dysplasia. If you hear clicking, it is probably a tendon and not the actual hip itself. I would def get it checked out since if it is dysplasia you are going to want to have it corrected. But more than likely, it is probably nothing. Like I said, DD had hip dysplasia rfom being breach - and her hip did click, but I confirmed with her ped and her orthopedist that it was just a tendon. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I made an appointment for early next week. Hopefully it's nothing.
