How many sets of lights to you put on your tree?
For a few years now, I've been under lighting our tree because I never got more lights as my living alone tree grew into a married tree and I want to get new lights this year for our first family tree! I like the mini colored lights. We get a real tree, average size.
How many sets do you use on your tree?

I have 500 lights on mine. It SO does NOT look like 500 either. 5 strands of 100.

I think I use 3 sets ... two are the same and very long with a lot of lights and then I think I have a short set up top. We always get a live tree that is about 7 feet tall.

I like a really bright tree so I easily use 1200+ lights on our Xmas tree every year.

i have a 8 foot prelit tree with 800 clear lights. i add another 4 strands of 100 colored lights.

we have a 7 ft tree and put on 7 strands of 100 lights. I read somewhere that the ratio shouldbe 100 lights for each foot

I think we have about 1,000 lights on our tree. I think it's a 7 foot tree.

We use a lot of lights on our tree... I like a bright tree (we use white lights).

We have an 8ft tree and about 600 red lights on it. I think this is just enough to make it glow and be relaxing but not to in your face red. When we do a multicolored tree we do about 600-1000. I like that tree to be GLOWING!

Oooohhhh... my mom used to do the mini red lights with a satin poinsettia flower on each bulb! I loved them because even when the lights were not on, there were still nice flowers on the tree! Hmmmmmm... colored or red

It comes prelite!!!! There are at least 2-3 extension that I can see. It's a 4.5 ft tree!

i have exactly 2000 lites on my tree. and i wish i could put more. LOL. i have 8 strands of 250 lites.

I use a lot of lights on my tree. We get a smaller tree and I use any where from 10 - 15 sets of lights on it. I like a well lit tree too.
