So confused

So, I’m pretty good at calculating this whole “O” thing and I’m very regular.  But now I’m a little confused.  Yesterday I had definite EWCM throughout the day (although I was a little unsure if it was leftover from DH the day before), but I had a negative OPK.  Now this morning I got my smiley so I’m due to “O” but it seems that I now have creamy/sticky CM.  DH and I did not BD last night because I wanted him to “save up” (we BD on Sunday) for when I got my positive OPK.  But now, how are those little guys supposed to get where they need to go if my CM is no longer right?

 Also, does anyone know the “typical” life of sperm?  I know that it CAN last for up to 5 days but what is the norm?

EWCM can mean that you’re about to "O" that is why you have your today.

From what i have researched online sperm can live a few hours up to a few days depending on the environment in the uterus..

Also, just because you don’t see EWCM or CM on your panties or when you wipe doesn’t mean you don’t have it.

I would BD tonight, tomorrow and the next day!
