allergy medicine
I'm at my inlaws who have cats and my allergies are killing me! I normally take alavert. My MIL threw out package! Does anyone know if I can take any kind of allergy medication??

I have severe allergies and my Dr said it was okay to take Claritin, just the regular kind not the D, but I didn't take anything until I asked his advice. I would check with your Dr., I'm sure there is something you can take.

My doctor said Claritin and Zyrtec were okay, but to stay away from Allegra.

ETA: and benadyl is perfectly fine as well but if you're like most people you'll be too busy sleeping to know if it helps

I just asked my doc about this and he said Claritin and Zyrtec are perfectly fine.

I was told by my doctor to take Claritan D. I am not sure what the difference is between that and regular Claritan but she always said D. You can also take benadryl.

Ask your doctor about Singulair - it is usually prescribed for asthma, but I took it before getting PG with Abby for allergies and took it throughout my pregnancy safely.
