From what i've heard that is really early to hear the heartbeat so I wouldnt worry too much just yet!! I had a 12 week appointment last night and even then my OB said not to worry if we don't hear the HB b/c many times it is still early. Try to hang in there!!

My doctor didn't use the doppler on me until my 16 week appointment. And a lot of women have posted that the doctor didn't use it on them until 12 weeks.
I'm sure all is well, but sending you lots of
same here...my dr didnt use it til my 16w apt (which was actually at 17w).

That is crazy...make you worry like that! It is WAYYYY to early!!

That's why my doctor refuses to use the doppler before 10-12 weeks. There's no reason to put us under this kind of stress!  for you and that everything is okay.

That is early. I had heard my son's heartbeat at 10 weeks & it took a while to find it.

My dr. couldn't hear the heartbeat at 10weeks with the doppler so they did a quick ultrasound so I could hear the heartbeat and not leave all worried.

my doctor scheduled my next appt for dec 12 when i will be 12 weeks....
He said he wanted to make sure we are "clear" on the heartbeat....

my doctor didn't use the doppler unitl 16 weeks and had trouble hearing it then and had trouble again at 22 weeks!

I am sorry but your doctor SHOULD have done a vaginal-sono at that point to determine if he/she can SEE a heartbeat to confirm a viable pregnancy.
I pray everything will be alright.
Please please please I am begging you to find a new doctor. It is very unprofessional to leave you hanging.
