Aww hun, He is beautiful.
My sil had the exact same problem... and ended upwith the C-section. Recovery for her ended up being fast though so I am sure you will pull through just as strong as you sound!
The first day seemed the roughest with her, but at day two she was walking ALOT and lifting the baby byherself...

I am sorry your birth experience wasn't whatyou wanted. Your labor sounds a lot like mine but I was stubborn as Sh*T and labored at home with irregular contractions with insane peaks for 46 hours at only 1 cm dilated 
Glad all is well now! Can't wait to see you over on parenting and check out the BFing thread up top for help and feel free to shout out for BFing help! Lottsa mamas on here with AWESOME advice on BFing!
CONGRATS again and GREAT JOB mama!!! He's GORGEOUS!!!

First, CONGRATULATIONS! William is adorable (and your mom looks beyond thrilled)!
Second, I hope your recovery starts to become easier for you. You deserve it after all that you went through!
Lastly, thank you for your honesty. It's so important to hear the rough side of labor - not to scare ppl, but to make them aware of the possibilities. I, myself, cannot thank you enough!

Congratulations!!!!! Take it easy on your recovery. I remember I started doing to much to soon after my c-section b/c I thought I felt better. I hope you have some help.

if loving him was the only job i had to do right now, i would be an expert.
That is such a true statement. I really got choked up when I read that. My coworkers will probably think I've lost my mind if they see me right now.

Awwwwwwwwwwww I was so worried that you took so long to get to the hospital but I'm glad everything worked out in the end and I'm sorry about the long labor William is beautiful and I wish you a speedy recovery and lost of good wishes in parenthood!

Awwww............he is so sweet!! Sorry you had such a rough delivery. As a BTDT mom who had a C-section I can tell you that while the recovery totally stinks and it's not fun at all every day really does get better and better. (although I didn't believe it when everyone told me that!! LOL) Take all the help you can get because getting around might be a little hard at first but within no time you will feel so much better!! Rest up and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! He is beautiful!!
