a tan (not a real one, b/c i can't go in the sun but i love when my face and neck have some color, even if it's fake )
putting on make up and perfume...it just makes me feel put together...

When I feel my daughter kick.
When I talk to my friend who was a former client and she tells me how grateful she was for all I did for her in Family Court.
My husband just hugging me out of nowhere and telling me how special I am.
My law license
A good day including highlighting and cut.
When I am not preggo-completing a hip hop class!

My marathon medals, and knowing how hard I have worked to get to the level of running that I am at now. I never thought I could do it and love it!
Looking back at the last 9 years, I feel extrememly proud of how I endured the challenges and changes and handled it all! I think I did pretty well. Now on to the next set of challenges!

Running with DS(my running buddy) at Caumsett.
Even though it's hard to push all that extra weight in the jogging stroller, I secretly enjoy it.
He has made me a stronger runner!
The only time I don't run with him is on the weekend and I definitely miss my running buddy

Running more than 2 miles, because I never thought I would be able to.
Wearing a cute outfit, and having my hair blown out.
When people compliment my cooking and baking.
When I give an animal a good home
 I'm taking two of my birds home from the lab when I graduate. I want them to live the good life now that they have lived most of their lives for science.

When people call me skinny. After 2 kids (20 months apart) I never thought I would hear that again!
Looking in the mirror and liking what I see. Having a TAN always helps, LOL!
My clean/neat house. I can have unexpected company at anytime and never feel embarrassed
My job. When I am told that I am the reason they were able to sleep at night with a clear head.
My gorgeous kids!! They really are *blush*
My DH..because I was LUCKY enough to have him and receiving compliments from people on what a great guy he is.

When my DH comes walking around that corner and I don't expect it, it just makes me feel good. There is always a smile on both of our faces. 
When someone compliments me on our house. When they say how far we have come with our house and that we have made the neighborhood look better. That is a great feeling. 
When someone thanks me at work for a job well done.
When a project in the house is finally finished and I can look around that room and say "We did this." It feels really good to me. I love the accomplishment and the feeling of "I dreamt this and I made it happen."
Yoga. So calming and so refreshing. Great way to start your day.
And a nice pair of heels with jeans. Comfortable yet sexy.

When I work with a child who only a few months ago was nonverbal, crying, screaming, and thinking I'm a scary monster, and is now smiling, engaged, talking, and learning.
Fitting into my skinny jeans. My hair looking fabulous. My makeup looking good - and lipgloss, of course.
When I go to a wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and people ask if I am one of the hired dancers  I love dancing - and I think it shows.
Teaching Zumba and getting women to move and shake even if they are self conscious. Getting them to laugh, look in the mirror, and act sexy makes me feel so good!!! Not to mention the high I feel after working out.
Beating my time each time I run a 5K or a 4 miler.
thanks for this post - I am realizing I feel a lot better about myself than I thought!

My little boy. He is this sweet, funny friend of mine. I love being his mom and love having people tell me I am a great one.
My husband. 14 years later, I love him so much. He is this hardworking, great father, fun guy who keeps getting better looking.
My siblings. I have 6 people in my life who are more of a support system then I could ever imagine. We really all love each other. Makes me so happy that 4 of them chose to come down to my house this year and celebrate the holidays with my family.
My parents and their relationship with my boy. I come from a huge family...oldest of 7, grandparents with 30 plus grandkids on each side...I know absolutely nothing about solo, intimate extended family relationships. I always felt loved, and loved having a huge family, but never knew the other side. My parents live for this kid. I am so happy he knows that kind of love and has them in his life.
