Can you get your mortgage payment adjusted...
after your tax bill comes in? We had our original mortgage payment go up by $50 to figure for taxes going up. It went up this November, BUT our tax bill won't be received until December, and I know that it will be going down bc of STAR and Veteran's exemptions.
So, once I see my taxes have gone down, the mortgage company does not have to take as much for escrow for the upcoming year. Can I get them to alter the mortgage payment to reflect what the actual payment shoulld be? Or will they just continue to take the higher amount and refund me the money at the end of the year?
I hope this makes sense.

A year from now? I already got 1 refund check bc we are in the house a year now.
I guess I'm just going to try to have to call. Thanks!

Do you have any documentation of what the taxes will be? When I got my taxes grieved, I faxed over a copy of the proof and then the bank adjusted the escrow accordingly. Without you telling them, they will continue to charge you that amount.
I had to pay a $10 fee for the bank to adjust it now and not wait till years end.

This is what I wanted to know, thank you!!! Not yet, I believe tax documentation comes out on 12/1, so once I get it, then I'll address it. Thanks!!!
