The middle "turning lane"
Ooops....premature posting.
You know on a 2 lane road (like Little East Neck Rd by me) there is one lane for each direction and then the middle turning lane. You know, if you have to make a left you would pull into that lane.
My question is this: those people who DON'T use this lane what do they think the lane is for? They stay in the traffic lane and wait FOREVER to make their left while the rest of us sit there.
 It's not a decoration people.

I was thinking about this last week when someone did that on Jericho Tpke.... They stopped the left lane waiting to turn, even though the turning lane was completely empty.
The worst thing is, the people trying to get around them will get into the accident, but the person who actually caused it won't technically be involved....

Ugh I hate that - and when people only pull into that turning lane (or any turning lane) halfway, blocking the traffic behind them. My horn LOVES those people.

Jericho is the WORST for that… I take it to/from work and I get road rage every day from people doing stupid things like that!

I didn't realize that obeying the traffic laws were an option! 
Stopping in traffic that wasn't designated a turn lane is dangerous!

This is one of my biggest driving pet peeves. It's right there with using the entire turning lane at an intersection and not letting the end of your car hang out in the next lane.
