question for girls who chart
Hi- I'm new to charting, just started last month. I notice my temps are pretty low- usually in the 96 rane, once in a while in the 97 range. Is this normal?
Could it be the fact that my room is usually cold and we don't use a comforter? Has anyone noticed that their temps are lower in the winter?

my temps are always low
i dont think it has anything to do with sheets or blankets
i know i always feel cold because of my thyroid condition
before ovulation my temps are around 96.7 after ovulation they are up around 97.8

My temps are low as well, same range as the pp. I didn't really notice a difference from charting in the summer or charting in the winter, it was always in the same range.

Another low temp-er here... I think it's just me. I get low temps in the summer too. I'm also one of those people who needs a sweater while everyone else in the room feels warm.

My temps are ALWAYS low. Thats why its hard for me to know when I am ovulating. The highest temp I have ever gotten was 98.2.
I am seeing an RE & am on my 2nd round of Clomid, because I this I have to see the RE at certain times.
Its because of him that I knew when I ovulated. The temp chart & OPK weren't reading my surges.
He wasn't concerened when I made mention of this.

My temp run low too. Pre O they in the high 96's to low 97's. Post O I am in the high 97's and something low 98's.

Thanks ladies! Last month's chart showed no O and this month I'm on CD 20 and my temps are all over the place! I had one OB tell me he thought I had PCOS because I started having irregular cycles last fall.
I'm getting a second opinion but decided to chart for a couple of months so I have something to show the other dr. I have read that sleeping with your mouth open can give inaccurate or low temps and I snore due to deviated septum and sinus issues
Does anyone temp vaginally?
