video monitor for kids out of cribs
Do you still use it once your DC is out of the crib? I was planning on having DH install it high in the corner of the room somewhere, so that we can see when DS is out of his bed. Will this work?

Yes My DH installed our Summer one above my DD's closet door to watch her over her twin bed....works great!

I am more concerned now that DD is in a bed, I definitely want to keep tabs on what she is up to in there. We just need to find a good spot for the monitor now.

DH and I were just having this conversation the other day. Once DS started pullling himself up and realized the monitor was sitting right on top of the crib we had to mount it ot the wall.
It's probably going to the staying where it is for a long time. Once he moves to a toddler bed I'd like to see what he's up to.

DH also installed the monitor on the closet door. I love watching him sleep or even just play around and sing. Makes me feel more comfortable. Plus, he's rolling around a lot so he does that till he falls asleep. I feel better that I can see him
