BBT Didnt go up at regular time

So I had positive OPK Sunday and Monday.... so now with it being Wed, I expected my temp to go up at 6am and it remained the same...it has been 97.3 for 4 dayssss normally my temps were all over my chart.

I decided to go back to bed and woke up 3 hours later to check again and it went up to 98.0 (and I went 3 hours straight bc I was so tired the night before I barely got sleep).

How should I chart this? Now I dont think I O'd...but I was trying to be hopeful that my temp was higher 3 hours later- no getting out of bed or anything. Should I go with 98.0 and pray that my temps are high again tomorrow?


Edit to add: When I took my temp at 6am it was 1st 97.0 and I couldnt believe my eyes!!! I was like how could it have gone down???? So I took it again and it was 97.3 so I assumed to keep 97.3 b/c I thought maybe I didnt have it under my tongue right lol

What time do you normally temp?? Usually temperatures go up during the day so it should be higher later on.

I would go with the temp that is closest to the normal time you take it.

I normally temp at 6 but I was just shocked that it would be the same temp in 4 days


Oh noooooo so then that means that I probably didnt even O (eventhough I was having cramps and everything)

That seems like it big coincidence to me if you didn't actually O because you got the right on schedule!

you may have had an LH surge but not O'ed... that has happened to me a couple of cycles. I would get positive OPK's and my temp would stay the same.

I found it helpful to keep using OPK's, even after a positive, until I saw my temp go up. This helped me with those confusing cycles, bc I would sometimes see 2 or 3 LH surges and then finally stop the opks after I knew I O'ed from temping. I think the reason it was happening to me was bc I was worrying so much about it all... I know it is hard, but try to relax and know that you will O, it can just be a little late sometimes

Also, sometimes you get a really low temp the day of O, and then see your temp shoot up the next day..... maybe today is your O day???

Im so mad at myself- last night we had parent/teacher conferences and stayed at work until 8pm and left my OPKs at home so I couldnt testChat Icon Do you think eventhough I got my positive OPK on Sunday and Monday that I could O on Wednesday? Wouldnt Wednesday be too far away to O from getting my 1st positive on Sunday? We BD 3 nights in a row since the +OPK... should we BD again tonight?

No, I dont think it is too late to O today, it def. could be today! Last month I got a positive opk on CD18 and didnt O until CD21.

Since you BD'd the past 3 nights you would definitely have been BDing in your fertile time (if you O today). I always try to give it my all, so I would BD again tonight, just to be safe!
