Our offer was accepted!
My REA called me this afternoon to tell me that our offer was accepted!  This is for the house that has been on the market for 10 days now, the one where we offered full price and they originally said they were still waiting to see if something better rolled in. Apparently, she told them that if they didn't accept by 5:00 today, we were walking for good. And they accepted! Inspection is scheduled for Friday!
How is it possible to be so happy and so terrified at the same time???

you can be scared until the inspection... if the inspection is good.. then get excited. until (bom bom bom) mortgage commitment. then excited.
then scared that your stuff won't fit through the door, then excited...
it's a roller coaster. but enjoy it!

exactly what she described!!!! its def a crazy experience and your emotions are constantly played with... everything happens for a reason and if this house doesnt go through, just know there is a better one waiting for you

Thank you, everyone! I hate that we have to wait until Friday for the inspection but my DH goes to school at night and we both work days, so Friday late afternoon was the first time we could both be there.
We're trying really hard not to get too excited about this, just in case, but... we're really excited! Friday can't come soon enough...
